  1. SET TERSE-TEXT-PROMPT NO/yes  -  whether to show the long Message prompt

  3. With the usual NO setting, MM displays several lines of prompts at the
  4.   point when you can type your message:

  6.   Message (End with CTRL-D or ESC
  7.     Use CTRL-B to insert a file, CTRL-E to enter editor, CTRL-F to...
  8.  
  9. If you change it to NO, a shorter prompt is shown.
  10.  
  11. For more help, type "help" and one of the following:
  12. (at any prompt:)  save-init   set   show
  13. (at the MM> or Read> prompts:)  send
